Maybe I was the only one stumped on this one, because everyone else seems to have gotten it easily. Then again I guess we've all been there before.

Here is this week's question:


A father was speaking to his teenage daughter. "You arrived very late, at 3 o'clock in the morning, and you kept me and your mother up waiting anxiously for you. I do not want that to ever happen again."
"But, Father," the girl replied, "I will never be able to do that again." What did she mean?

ANSWER:


They had been talking about the girl's birth.

I don't remember my own birth very well. After all, I was very young at the time!
