This one was a bit of a stumper, and generated some interesting responses.

Here is this week's question:

A healthy man was surprised and delighted when an attractive woman whom he had never seen before came up to him in the street, threw her arms around him, and gave him a long kiss. They were unknown to each other before this meeting. Why did she do it?

ANSWER:

The man had an identical twin brother with who the lady had recently fallen in love.

I thought it might be referring to that famous WWII photo of the girl and the sailor on the dock.

oddlystrange said she "just figured he looked like her boyfriend/father/lost chihuaha whatever... maybe he was her son that she had given up for adoption or something."

Lew was baffled, thought they were longlost brother & sister, and stated he needs a vacation.

Jamie gets extra points for the best soap opera. "She thought she recognized him because they were in hospital together suffering from some illness, now they're all better and out of the hospital and she feels somewhat close to him because they shared something together."

Tigger was probably closest to the given answer, stating that "there are two parts to this explanation." She pointed out that things like this never happen to me "because [I am] one of a kind."
