ANSWER: L.T.Q. #67

Date: Sat, 8 Mar 1997 21:52:18 -0500 (EST)
We understand that Ensign Crusher failed his exam on Quantum Physics and the Time-Space Continuum because he has spent too much time rolling around in the flowers on the Planet of the Scantily Clad California Blondes.
Here is this week's question:
ANSWER:
Let's see if I can walk this one through.
For the following, y = yesterday,
m = tomorrow, t = today, U = Sunday, M = Monday, T = Tuesday, W = Wednesday, R = Thursday,
F = Friday, S = Saturday, E=MC**2 , using + for the day after and - for the day
before, and presuming a base time frame of noon EST, a graphical
representation of this question might look like this:
U M T W R F S Just for argument purposes,
y- y t m m+ start with Wednesday as this day.
y t day after tomorrow is yesterday,
(Wednesday is -3 or +4 away)
t m day before yesterday was tomorrow,
(Wednesday is +3 or -4 away)
X day after this day = Thursday.
Srikanth suggested that we "should have special rewards for quick replies. (cracked in 1 min)" That may be a good suggestion, as it often takes longer for L.T.Q. subscribers to crack!
Now, if only I could figure out what day today is, I'd be alright.
